Waterfalls In Blenheim

Beautiful Waterfalls throughout the Blenheim region

Waterfalls in the Marlborough region are tucked away in forested valleys south and west of Blenheim, requiring short walks to reach them. Pine Valley Waterfall sits in a DOC reserve off the Wairau Valley Road, reached by an easy track through native bush. Rai Falls, further west near the Rai Valley between Blenheim and Nelson, drops into a pool below the highway and is one of the most accessible in the region. Both are free to visit and open year-round, though tracks can be slippery after rain.
