Mango Restaurant & Bar sits on Scott Street in the middle of Blenheim, serving Indian and Malaysian dishes from a single menu so curries and noodle dishes appear side by side. The kitchen works with fresh produce and says plainly that it uses no processed or frozen shortcuts. Alongside the dining room there is a cocktail bar, which makes it as easy to call in for a drink as for a full meal. The team also developed the Naanizza and the Naanwich, two naan-based dishes of their own. Mango runs restaurants in Nelson and Richmond as well, so the same kitchen is cooking across the top of the South Island.
